Hitting the shelves on September 13th, the November issue of PC Gamer Magazine comes with a special gift inside pertaining to League of Legends players. Inside each issue will be a code for the newest Caitlyn skin, an early release for the skin before it goes on sale at a later date. Do note that if you do not own Caitlyn and use the code, that you will unlock both Caitlyn AND the skin, so if you do not own this beastly sniper, here is your most cost-efficient chance in getting a cheap bundle! Also note, the skin can be found only in US ISSUES of the magazine.

Receiving word from a Red over on the polish forums, it has come to my attention that the PC Gamer code for Arctic Warfare Caitlyn WILL NOT be transferable to the EU platforms. Direct translated quote from Tekkichi:

Caitlyn Arctic Warfare skin will be avaible only in US edition of the PC Gamer magazine.
Code on skin that will be in US edition of PC Gamer will be only working on NA servers.
Caitlyn Arctic Warfare skin will be temporary exclusive and it will be avaible in shop in the future.
About similiar action in Europe we are now analyzing possibilities to organize similiar promotion in the future.
About polish market Riot don’t want to neglect it. However currently we don’t have anything in this topic to say. Please be patient and wait till official game release on the polish market .

ive bought the magazine and put in the code but it doesnt seem to work? any ideas why? i purchased it at barnes n noble? could it be someone used the code already? or is it activated once i buy the magazine?

There has been a huge string of problems involving the PC Gamer codes, with a combination of a bunch of the codes not working, or someone stealing the code before the magazine was even bought. Riot is trying to fix it though. Please send in a ticket at http://support.leagueoflegends.com/anonymous_requests/new
Your going to have to take a photo of your receipt to prove that you have bought the magazine, from what I’ve read.

Well the magazine its self is not wrapped in any shape or form. People who have a heads up on the mag. go to the store when it is release and just write down the code and go home and redeem it before someone actually buys the actual magazine and do it legit. But if u did buy the magazine and the code has already been redeemed. Their is a support option on PvP.Net for the codes as long as u got the receipt they have instructions on how to do it, to where you can actually get the code by email, a different code for the exclusive skin and unlock Caitlyn.
